PVZ Fusion basics
PVZ Fusion is a fan-made project inspired by Plants vs. Zombies. Its defining attraction is combining familiar plant ideas into new units and building strategies around their joined roles. It is not an official expansion published by EA or PopCap.
The word hybrid also appears in generic descriptions and in the separate project PVZ Hybrid. Always match instructions to the exact project and version shown by your package rather than treating every 'hybrid PVZ fusion' result as interchangeable.
Choose a download by platform and language
Windows users looking for the current base build should use the 3.8.1 PC guide. Android users should use the 3.8.1 guide with its direct GitHub asset and alternate mirrors. English users should compare the separately maintained Windows 3.8.1 beta and older Android 3.6.1 beta builds. There is no verified native macOS, iOS, or Linux release.
| Your device or need | Best page | Important limitation |

| Windows PC | PC download | Base release is Chinese-first |
| Android phone or tablet | Android APK | Chinese 3.8.1; English beta 3.6.1 beta |
| English on Windows | English download | Community beta, maintained separately |
| Mac | Mac compatibility | No native package verified |
| Linux | Linux compatibility | No native package verified |
| PVZ Hybrid | Super Hybrid download | Separate project from Fusion |
A safer installation baseline
For every fan package, verify the final host, release tag, version, and filename; let the transfer complete; scan the file; install into a separate location; and keep a rollback copy. On Windows, extract the whole ZIP before launching. On Android, grant install permission only to the browser or file manager you are using and review app permissions.
No download site can turn third-party software into a guaranteed-safe file by writing the word official. Transparency is stronger: show the source, avoid invented checksums, and let the user make an informed choice.
Saves, updates, and old versions
Do not assume an automatic updater or perfect save migration. Install new Windows builds side by side and preserve the old folder. On Android, an uninstall can erase private app data, while a different signing key can block an in-place update. Record your current version before changing anything.
Older releases such as Fusion 2.2.1, 2.1.4, 2.1.3, 2.0.4, and 1.x remain useful for identifying old saves and videos, but they are not described as current. The version-history page separates verified release records from legacy page mentions.
