Current release branches
A version is verified here when a current source exposes a release tag and downloadable artifact that can be matched to a platform. Verification does not mean EA endorsement or a security guarantee; it means the page can show where the release claim came from.

Legacy site archive: 2.2.1 through 1.0
The original PC page centered on 2.2.1 and listed 1.2 and 1.1. The Android page centered on 2.2.1 and listed 2.1.3, 2.0.4, and 1.0. The plant and Super Hybrid wikis used 2.1.4 as their latest reference, while the Super Hybrid download page also named 2.1.3 and 2.0.4.
Those version names are preserved because removing them would erase the subject of established URLs. They are legacy page records, not independently verified current downloads. Old exact size labels and placeholder checksums are excluded because they did not establish trustworthy provenance.

Which PVZ Fusion version should you use?
New Windows players should normally start with the current Windows branch; new Android players with the current Android branch. Choose the translation beta when English access is essential and you accept beta limitations. Choose an old version only when a specific guide, save, mod add-on, or reproducible test requires it.
- Fresh install: Use the current release for your platform.
- English UI: Use the current community translation and keep the base install separate.
- Existing save: Back up first; test migration without deleting the working version.
- Old guide or video: Match its version and project before copying recipes or files.
- Bug report: Record the exact tag and filename so other players can reproduce it.
Risks of downloading an older build
An archived name can survive long after its original file host disappears. Mirrors may repackage it, filenames can be reused, and old Android signing identities may conflict with current installs. Without a durable source or publisher checksum, age alone does not prove authenticity.
Keep historical information indexable while refusing to manufacture a direct link. That is why some versions can have useful archive context without a download button. A transparent 'source not verified' is better than sending users to an unknown executable.
