How this PVZ Fusion calculator gives an immediate result
Choose any two visible plant roles and the Fusion Lab reveals a result card in the browser. A small group of familiar pairings is presented as a curated recipe; every other pair is an explicitly fictional strategy-lab concept, never disguised as an in-game database entry.
The distinction is deliberate. Community builds, translations, and older guides do not always expose the same plant roster or exact mechanics. A calculator that silently invents a permanent recipe list would make the page look complete while sending players to the wrong conclusion. This Lab instead gives fast feedback, real inherited plant artwork, a tactical explanation, and a clear label that tells you whether the result is archival editorial material or a site-game simulation.
Read the card as a board-planning prompt
The Power /99 value is not an official stat. It combines the two selected plants' attack, defense, and utility weights into a repeatable score for this site's challenge loop. A high value can mean a versatile tile, not an automatic win. Use the card's role language to ask a better in-game question: does this lane need economy, steady pressure, time-buying control, a defensive anchor, or one emergency answer?
For example, a sun-producing attacker can help a new lane pay for itself, while a defender with a ranged role can save a planting tile. A cold or magnet-shaped role buys time for the rest of the board. A burst role is most useful when it is held for the wave that would otherwise collapse a stable setup. The calculator is quick by design; the wiki expands those roles without claiming fixed cross-version costs or damage values.
Use the daily challenge, share card, and rematch loop
Daily mode varies the featured pairing and records a local streak. The result appears as a composed card with the site name and URL so a screenshot still points back to the source. The share action uses native sharing where the browser supports it; otherwise it copies a challenge URL containing the selected pair and result parameters. A recipient can open that exact link and see the same deterministic card.
The browser stores the daily streak and recent local progress with localStorage. Nothing is uploaded to a profile or database. Returning tomorrow, clearing data, using private browsing, or changing devices each creates the expected separate local state. This keeps the interaction instant and static-site compatible while preserving one concrete reason to come back.
Choose a pair that answers a real problem
Start by naming the first point of failure. Pair economy with a stable attacker when the board cannot recover. Pair defense with sustained damage when a lane needs to hold without consuming another tile. Add control before the difficult wave arrives, not after it is already inside the formation. Select burst when one crowded or armoured threat is the actual loss condition. A shared result card is most useful when friends can explain why they chose different roles for the same challenge.
Limits of the Fusion Lab
The tool runs entirely on your device and does not inspect a game install, read a save, calculate official balance, or modify any downloadable file. It cannot prove that an unlabelled community package contains a plant or that a historical recipe still works in the newest release.
